Job Description

Long term Career with a Professional and Stable Company. Specifically seeking NICET II Sprinkler Designer to fit a Team and continue in experience and certifications. Well established Company with long term clients and relationships needs an eager, coachable team player with Design passion. Designing for all applications and clients including wet, dry, preaction, deluge, fire alarm and more. We serve in the commercial, warehouse, hospital/education primarily with government, historical/retrofit and new build as well. Our Design Team is limited in size yet broad in experience. NICET II is required for this specific position.

Sprinkler Designer Responsibilities include:• Process and clean up CADD files from A/E firms.• Design sprinkler systems including coordination (3D/BIM) using the HYDRACAD program.• Hydraulically calculate sprinkler systems for submission.• Prepare material submittals, drawing submission packages, etc. for submission to the GC/CM and/or AHJ.• Prepare fab lists and field drawings for installation• Perform Site visits and attend project meetings as needed.• Assist in Project management.• Prepare close out documents (as built drawings)• This list is only a brief overview of what shall be required/expected.• NICET LEVEL II MINIMUM* CERTIFICATION A REQUIREMENT*
