https://www.youtube.com/@thecentershfPOSITION OVERVIEW :The Communications Officer (Digital) will help advance the Sierra Health Foundation and The Center’s brand presence and will build strong online communities through our digital presence, including social media platforms, email communications, and websites. This role will offer insight on digital strategy, drive implementation and interpret the analytics of our digital platforms. The Communications Officer (Digital) will be responsible for developing and refining messaging and content for various digital communications materials in collaboration with colleagues across departments and programs to advance our organizational mission. In addition to digital communications responsibilities, this role will lead communications partnerships with a portfolio of funded programs.The successful applicant will have a background in digital communications or marketing, proven project management experience and a bachelor’s degree in communications or relevant/related degree or work experience. Professional experience in copywriting, editing or other communications work is a plus.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESChannel Health and GrowthSupport the core digital platforms of Sierra Health Foundation and The Center, including channels that will represent the voices of our executive leadership. Our core digital platforms currently include Instagram, LinkedIn, email communications and the Foundation and The Center’s websites.Build and manage comprehensive goal-oriented social media strategy that is in alignment with organizational objectives and amplifies the work of our senior and executive leadership.Help identify and grow relevant audiences across channels.Support the Senior Communications Officer (Digital) with content and messaging synergy across digital channels. Pivot and evolve with digital changes and trends. Make recommendations for resetting digital strategies based on data-backed insights and internal processes.Content Planning and PerformanceLead production calendar for the organizations' core digital platforms, including the timelines and workloads of contributors to meet deadlines.Support the Communications Associate with program related social media, email communications and website efforts.Coordinate with other departments to gather content, including stories, copy, information and assets.Manage the process and communication with outside vendors in relation to the production of content or assets.Assist with website management, including content collection, copywriting, visual design and editing and internal project management.Assist with email communications, including content collection, copywriting, visual design and editing and internal project management.Identify social media rapid response opportunities and coordinate with teammates to implement as needed.Lead monthly reporting for our core channels to help drive quarterly goals and grow channel benchmarks. Drive recommendations on how to set and meet goals. This includes managing a monthly dashboard and presenting results and insights.Other duties as assigned.Asset ManagementServe as the organizational steward of communications assets.Oversee the organization and management of video and photo content, ensuring efficient storage, cataloging and retrieval access for the Communications team and internal organizational departments.Program PartnershipRegularly meet and collaborate with internal and external partners from assigned portfolio of programs.Regularly guide and counsel program partners under assigned portfolio of programs.Participate in key convenings, site visits and other event opportunities as needed for program partnership support.Core CompetenciesThe ability to take initiative, show good judgment and manage projects from beginning to end. They must be able to demonstrate (a) excellent project management skills (b) strong writing, editing and proofreading skills; (c) strong design literacy and design experience; (d) exceptional ability to manage details and meet deadlines; and (e) work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Manage a high volume of tasks at one time, including organizing and prioritizing your own work and the work of others.Digital – Expertise and 3-5 years’ experience in managing content in email marketing technologies, content management systems and social media platforms.Analytics – Skill in extracting digital channel data, reporting, slicing and dicing, owning metric projects, owning dashboards and drawing actionable insights.Design – Strong visual literacy and 5-7 years’ experience in production design, supporting existing projects and designing from idea to execution; experience in Canva a plus.Writing – Excellent command of language, grammar and written communications skills, with fluency in AP style; demonstrated ability to develop and execute plans on schedule and write concisely and efficiently to promote the organization’s mission and objectives.Messaging – Adept at drafting value-based messaging for differing audiences, proven ability to translate complex concepts into simple phrases.

Time Management/Organization – Skilled at managing multiple projects and general project management; exemplary attention to detail and excellent time management with ability to execute complex instructions.Interpersonal Communications – Skill in building and sustaining relationships; a persuasive writer; ability to work independently and on a team and successfully meet goals and objectives; excellent writer and presenter, with the ability to inspire commitment and action in others.Technical – Advanced knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Design Suite, WordPress, Constant Contact, CRMs and other relational database systems.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position may provide direction and strong partnerships to Communications Associates, Assistants, and Interns.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Foundation currently operates on a hybrid work schedule with core in-office days of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and optional telework days on Mondays and Fridays.COMPENSATIONSierra Health Foundation offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

The hiring range for this position is

$88,700 - $105,000.
