About this role:

MATTE Projects is seeking a highly motivated Freelance Creative Project Manager to join our dynamic creative team. The Creative Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of projects & work streams across various mediums, from branding and identity to experiential activations and content creation. As a key liaison between our creative team, client service team, internal and external partners, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project timelines, creative reviews, resourcing, and deliverables to ensure that all objectives are met with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:Forge a tight partnership with creative directors and client service teams to pinpoint the necessary resources essential for executing the various work streams and deliverables outlined in Statements of Work (SOWs).Lead project kick-off meetings, establish clear timelines & milestones, work stream management for each project.Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress, ensuring appropriate creative reviews with ECD / CCO and ensuring that all deadlines are met.Coordinate with internal and external teams to allocate resources, manage workflows, and ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards.Conduct post-project evaluations to assess successes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices for future projects.Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting effective communication, teamwork, and creativity among team members.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management, design, and creative production.Support in identifying new, talented creative talent across skill sets to add to our bench of resources.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field.Agile Project Management certification is a plus.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a creative agency or studio environment.Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between internal teams, clients, and external partners.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com, as well as familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of and experience with Airtable is a plus as we use this at MATTE.Passion for creativity, innovation, and storytelling, with a desire to collaborate with diverse talents to bring ideas to life.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and navigate complex project requirements in a fast-paced environment.A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure client satisfaction and team success.

Salary Range:

$10,000 - $12,000/month

Please note this is a six month contract opportunity with potential to extend.
