YOUR ROLE

The Mountain Studio Retail Sales Associate - Local Marketing Coordinator is a part-time hourly combined role in our Boston Seaport retail location.

Stio Mountain Studio Retail Sales Associates are responsible for providing an exceptional brand experience with customers at our Boston Mountain Studio. Sales Associates are required to deliver an outstanding level of customer service, which includes but is not limited to knowledge of the brand story and product, customer engagement, and selling. Stio Mountain Studio™ Sales Associates are committed to supporting a dynamic, cohesive team that provides a customer experience through connection, top-quality product education, and a passion for our products and company.

In addition to Mountain Studio Sales Associate responsibilities, the Local Retail Marketing Coordinator role is responsible for building and supporting meaningful local partnerships and events throughout the year to drive brand awareness, traffic, and revenue. This part-time, hourly role offers time each week to collaborate with Mountain Studio leadership and local retail team. This role is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an individual to learn about the Stio brand, connect with our best-in-class HQ marketing team, and engage in the community helping shape our brand presence in Seaport and the greater Boston area.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Mountain Studio Sales AssociateCreate a welcoming customer experience in our Mountain Studio retail spaceProvide knowledgeable and up to date details of Stio products, sales, and pricingMaintain visual store aesthetic through routine cleaning, mannequin changes, organizing displays and general tidying of the floorReceive inventory shipments, restocking inventory on the sales floor, and maintaining an organized back-stockUtilize Point of Sale system to accurately and efficiently process customer transactions; payments, refunds/exchanges and gift cardsOther operational duties including answering phones and fulfilling customer service shipments

Local Retail Marketing CoordinatorCurate and drive meaningful partnerships, events, and activations that align with the Stio brand, local Mountain Studio goals and larger Stio campaign objectives throughout the year with support from Mountain Studio Manager and HQ Marketing teamMap out marketing placement and event partnership schedules for the year, manage contract commitments and budget allocations with Mountain Studio Manager for alignmentPartner with the Mountain Studio Manager to manage the retail marketing budget, with focus to drive select marketing initiatives to maximize ROIUpdate and look ahead to creative asset requests, event support planning and communication, work with local and HQ teams on communication tools and lead timesManage requests and timeline needs in Asana for assets from internal creative teamAdditional collaboration as point of contact for local Seaport landlord marketing groupResponsible for weekly/monthly metric tracking and reporting, using this data to evaluate ROI and inform future planningReliable transportation to/from Mountain Studio location in Seaport, and at times to off-site events and activations in the area

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills requiredCommitment to creating an inclusive and supportive space for every person who enters the Mountain StudioDisplay a passion for engaging with your community, and have proven project management or event experienceUnderstanding of the Stio brand and identifying brand partners and activation opportunitiesRetail, sales, and/or service experience preferredFlexibility to work Weekends and Holidays required, including representing Stio at key in-store and off-site eventsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredProactive learner who is eager to be part of a growing Stio teamComputer proficiency and POS experienceMicrosoft Office and Excel Skills preferredEmail and phone communication skills required
