Provides coordination support for a team of Medical Writing staff, including supervising Medical Writing staff as neededPerforms technical and quality control review of regulatory/medical/technical documents prepared by the Medical Writing staff including clinical trial meeting summariesWorks with assigned Medical Writing Managers and Project Managers to manage timelines, productivity, and quality of deliverablesParticipates in project team and client meetings as requiredDevelops and implements standard operating procedures specific to medical writing functionsMaintains a quality control process for all processesIdentifies and implements document review and approval processesManages consistency of style and format for regulatory/medical/technical documentsDevelops scope and specific responsibilities with regards to client specific requests/projectsContributes to technical proposals and Business Development activitiesJob Requirements
Outstanding writing and editing skillsAdvanced knowledge of researching, writing, editing, and reviewing clinical and regulatory documentsExcellent time management and multi-tasking skillsExperience in attending and moderating large meetings preferredExcellent customer service skillsPrior supervisory experience a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office
