The

Director, Corporate Communications

will help shape the narrative as Novocure communicates with its diverse stakeholders, including media, strategic partners, employees and other thought leaders. This function requires deep understanding of Novocure's key messages, corporate objectives, clinical data, and brand positioning. This role serves as a key point person for Novocure's communications strategy, interacting with senior leadership. This role will deeply contribute to creating, planning, and leading the communications strategy and execution of all internal and external communications with the ultimate goal of effectively delivering corporate, scientific, and product messages to Novocure's key audiences.This is a full-time, exempt, Hybrid or Remote position reporting to the VP, Finance and Investor Relations and tied to our Portsmouth, New Hampshire USA Headquarters.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Partner closely with the Leadership Team to help lead corporate and product communication programs and deliver one consistent aligned voice to all key stakeholders that reflects Novocure's strategy, values, and priorities.Support all media and public relations activities, including building and managing external media strategy and media opportunities.Manage PR agency relationships and media monitoring.Work cross functionally to create and enhance Novocure's internal communications channels to ensure all employees are informed of company updates and corporate objectives. This includes strong participation and ownership of Novocure's comprehensive social media and digital strategies.Develop and support high-quality internal and external communications materials that align with company goals and messages, including ESG and Annual Report creation and production.Steward the Novocure brand image as it is pulled through multiple applications throughout the organization, both training on proper use and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines.Coordinate and support strategic partnerships, including alliance management communications departments and hospital press offices, where appropriate.Support medical conferences, government events, investor days and other external events.Manage vendors (developers, designers, etc.) for supporting the distribution of news and other corporate visibility platforms.Build relationships both internally and externally that enable accurate, efficient and optimal creation and delivery of key messages.Manage a team of communications professionals responsible for defining, refining and championing the Novocure corporate brand identity.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience7+ years of relevant work experience in public relations (pharmaceutical, biotech or medical technology experience required)Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues in presentation, written and oral formDemonstrated ability to create influential narratives which drive passionAptitude for understanding and communicating scientific information and clinical dataDemonstrated ability to maintain composure and good judgement in fast-paced, high-stress environments, while managing multiple priorities simultaneously and potentially confidential or sensitive informationDemonstrated ability to lead successful communication projects with multiple stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to effectively lead teams and build strong cross-functional relationshipsInnovative thinker with mindset for process improvementRelentless curiosity and attention to detailManage key deliverables to conclusion on time and on budgetStrong collaborator and self-starter with a strong track record of results
