WHAT YOU’LL DOAs the Senior Manager, Marketing you will:Develop and execute on a podcast content strategy that focuses on creating unique and engaging podcasts that also serves as an informational resource for both members and industry professionals.Manage all aspects of podcast production from initial concept to post-production and distribution. This can include organizing, scheduling, editing, and hosting.Develop and execute marketing campaigns for all podcast content created by the association and its members.Support APhA’s meetings, membership, journals, books and digital publishing, and education departments with projects as assigned by developing and executing marketing campaigns and strategies for a variety of different products and services. Some products may include printed and electronic publications, education webinars, certificate training programs, APhA’s annual meeting, the Joint Federal Pharmacy Seminar and other live events and products as assigned.Contributes to the strategy, creative, and tactical implementation process for all related marketing activities assigned.Measures campaign results and makes campaign adjustments as needed.Enforce SOPs for internal review of marketing materials ensuring all stakeholders have approved marketing materials before deployment.Serve as one of the leads to APhA’s digital marketing and analytic platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Google Analytics.Back-up the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing in distributing emails, creating email templates, automations and journeys in support of marketing campaigns and metric reporting.Oversee our in-house magazine ad schedule and development.WHO WE’RE LOOKING FORAPhA may be the right fit for you have:

Experience and Education required:

A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business is required.A minimum of 5+ years of experience membership association, medical communications firm, or similar organizationSkills, knowledge and abilities required:

Experience both producing. editing, hosting, and marketing podcasts. Must have experience with podcasting software. Familiarity with Adobe Audition a plus.Demonstrated ability to successfully develop marketing campaigns to meet revenue and awareness goals.Superior copywriting skills and experience.Some experience producing and managing interactive marketing tactics, including videos.Ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks with attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to work independently, troubleshoot, resolve conflicts, garner consensus and lead multi-division/department teams.Strong computer literacy with understanding of and ability to use Microsoft Office products.Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills, including presentation and public speaking.Experience managing marketing budgets.LOCATION: Washington, DC – Hybrid, two days a week in the office (Tuesday & Thursday)
