Piedmont Crossing independent living is growing! Join our marketing team and begin pre-selling new construction set to begin in 2025! Seeking a Director of Marketing with experience using emotional intelligence to advance the sales cycle. Independent living sales will serve a dual purpose – managing the pre-sales process and ensuring current vacant units are promoted and targeted for move-ins. This is an exciting time at Piedmont Crossing – our expansion is supporting the demand for cottages and villas.

The Director of Marketing’s major responsibility is to provide leadership in all marketing related activities as set forth in the approved Marketing Plan for the facility and to coordinate the admission process for all independent living residents at the community.

Develops and implements the approved version of the Marketing Plan.

Reaches and exceeds individual sales goals, including:

Completes an average of 15 to 20 voice-to-voice calls with prospects each day.

Schedules an average of four face-to-face appointments with prospects each week.

Achieves sales result of residential unit closings per month consistent or exceeding annual budgeted goals.

Reports results of sales goals to Executive Director and Chief Marketing & Public Relations Officer weekly. If goals are not met, develops solution-driven plan to meet sales goals the following week.

Develops and implements the advertising and communications program through direct mail, publicity, newsletters, print media, and other approved mediums.

Assists Executive Director with marketing objectives, programs and policies.

Performs marketing functions of prospecting, qualifying, presenting, closing, and follow-up with prospective residents through on-site and in-home presentations.

Works in cooperation with the Director of Public Relations to develop and coordinated public relations for the campus to ensure compatibility with our mission, services, and public image.

Coordinates the admissions process with prospective residents, family, staff, and committee.

Minimal Education:

Bachelor’s degree with a degree in marketing or related field preferred.

Minimal Experience:

Successful, sustaining experience in a related field that involves marketing and sales may be considered.

Other Qualifications:

Previous supervisory experience preferred.
