In-office expectation is 3 days a week*.ABOUT THE POSITIONMaking outdoor apparel and equipment is at the heart of our brand and how we bring that product to life through marketing and communication has a direct impact on the brand. Our product connects us to consumers in a rational and emotional way. Our community is intentional about what gear they purchase and wants to know every detail; the Product Marketing Specialist will work to ensure those details are accurate and accessible.A member of the Marketing team, the Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for bringing the Mountain Hardwear brand to life through the product experience. This individual will assist in bringing our products to market from concept to consumer. The Product Marketing Specialist will serve as a liaison between marketing and our cross-functional partners ushering products through the go-to-market process, ensuring lines of communication are always open.The Product Marketing Specialist will focus their efforts on supporting the business by the tracking of, coordination, and deployment of product marketing materials though the go to market process. In addition, they will assist in identifying content creation needs for key products, tracking changes or updates to products, and assist in all elements of product marketing from copywriting briefings to hangtags, sample solicitation, and asset tracking with a focus on driving consumer engagement at the product level resulting in conversion.HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCEPartner closely with Sr. Marketing Manager of Operations to implement seasonal strategy for key marketing styles supporting and enhancing seasonal initiatives.

Support cross-functional marketing managers (Brand, Creative, Digital, Wholesale, Product Marketing, etc.) in bringing seasonal initiatives and campaigns to market

Build and maintain strong relationships with product and design teams ensuring lines of communication are always open.

Collaborate with cross-enterprise partners on seasonal projects including PDP asset creation.

Become proficient in PIM system (Salsify) with a focus on maintaining accuracy of product information and becoming an internal super user in the system.

Manage timelines and calendar dates for seasonal product marketing touchpoints.

Guide product copywriting process including managing timeline, scheduling briefings, trafficking copy for review etc.

Oversee product hangtag process including managing timelines, briefing projects, trafficking artwork for review and printing.

Responsible for tracking the progress of seasonal PDP photography, updating, and distributing PDP report seasonally.

Assist with seasonal sample solicitation, receiving and distributing products in partnership with Content Producer and Brand Marketing Specialist.

Interest in our fields of play and/or outdoor industry, with a willingness to learn and gain consumer insights through a mix of subjective and objective data.

Support in person and consumer facing product marketing activations as the product expert

Receive and distribute product to external clients (AAC team, PR, Product Donations, etc.)

Support the seasonal digital workbook, working closely with sales and product merchandising teams to ensure accurate representation of each product.

Able to work under pressure and to meet strict timelines, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work extended hours if necessary

YOU HAVEBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field and/or 3-5 years professional experience

Experience in related outdoor or sporting industry is beneficial. A strong connection to and understanding of mountain sports (climb, snow sports, trail, mountaineering, camp, etc.).

High level of ownership of responsibilities, forward thinker, always working toward elevating brand opportunities.

Must possess strong communication skills and excellence in writing and editing.

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve in an entrepreneurial, deadline-driven environment.

Maintain a high level of project ownership and accountability for product data, contributing substantially to company efficiency.

Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Capable of managing multiple concurrent projects with a high level of detail and quality.

Ability to stay informed on the latest marketing and industry trends.

10% Travel to trade shows, events, etc.

Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Understanding of Apple OS and Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with ability to envision a finished product and execute accordingly.

Salary Range: $79,300 - $132,400 *Pay decisions are determined by multiple factors, including what the market is paying, a candidate’s capabilities and skills, years of experience, and internal equity.
