vineyard vines is a highly successful, privately held, American clothing and accessory retailer founded in 1998 on Martha's Vineyard by brothers, Shep and Ian Murray. With Shep & Ian still at the helm today, vineyard vines has experienced exponential year over year growth and now operates over 120 retail locations locations including an outlet division, a successful e-commerce business, domestic distribution center, and expanding corporate headquarters. In addition, vineyard vines is carried in major department stores such as Nordstrom and Bloomingdales as well as numerous specialty boutiques across the US.

Overview:
We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Designer to join our Graphics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in illustration, a deep understanding of apparel graphic techniques, and a proven track record of creating compelling graphics for apparel. This role demands creativity, a fun sense of humor, attention to detail, and a passion for apparel.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop graphic artwork for men's graphic tees that align with our brand identity and target market preferencesCollaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible for production and meet quality standardsStay up-to-date with current trends in fashion, art, and design to incorporate fresh and relevant ideas into our apparelApply expertise in illustration and graphic design to create visually striking and original artworkUtilize knowledge of various apparel print techniques to achieve desired effects and ensure design integrityPrepare and present design proposals, including mock-ups and detailed specifications for productionWork closely with suppliers and the production team to oversee the sampling and production processes, ensuring designs are accurately executedParticipate in cross-functional meetings to contribute to overall product strategy and developmentWhat you bring:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, specifically in apparelBachelor’s degree in Studio Art, Illustration, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related fieldExceptional illustration skills and a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of graphic teesProfound understanding of apparel print techniques, including screen printing, digital printing, embroidery and various appliquesProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design software such as ProcreateAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with team members and external partnersA keen eye for detail, color, and typographyPassion for fashion and a good understanding of the menswear marketEvery-day Will Feel This Good Because:
