Position Summary

As the Art Director for our casino table games products, you will be responsible for overseeing the visual direction and creative development of our products including our Electronic Table Games (ETGs), table game progressives, live felt layouts, associated game signage, and more. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including game designers, developers, and product managers, you will translate conceptual ideas into stunning visual designs that enhance player engagement and drive user satisfaction. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional artistic talent, and a passion for delivering high-quality gaming experiences.Lead the artistic vision for our casino table games, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and target audience preferences.Conceptualize and design captivating graphics, characters, environments, and animations for various game elements.Collaborate with game designers to develop concepts and storyboards that effectively communicate gameplay features and objectives.Provide artistic direction and feedback to internal and external artists, ensuring consistency and quality across all visual assets.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge in the market.Manage the art production pipeline, from initial concept sketches to final implementation, while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.Work closely with producers and project managers to estimate resource requirements and allocate tasks accordingly.Conduct regular reviews and critiques of artwork to identify areas for improvement and maintain a high level of artistic excellence.Mentor and inspire junior artists, fostering a collaborative and supportive creative environment within the team.Act as a liaison between creative, technical, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive integration of art assets into the final product.Qualifications

Training and/or Experience:

Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior art or creative leadership role within the gaming industry, with a focus on casino table games preferred.Education:

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Self-directed, highly motivated, thorough and accurate, ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Exceptional artistic skills, including proficiency in digital illustration, concept art, and 2D/3D animation.Expertise in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Studio Max or equivalent professional 3D software package, and Softimage.Strong understanding of game development processes, including art production pipelines, optimization techniques, and platform requirements.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and provide constructive feedback.Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and mentoring a team of artists.Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player preferences and market trends in the casino table games industry.
