Currently, the Buildings, Technology and Energy division requires a Mechanical Designer to join our growing Atlanta team.
Responsibilities:
Design - Performs mechanical engineering work (design, CAD and Revit) related to vertical infrastructure, specifically in the areas of Mechanical Systems, i.e. HVAC, plumbing and fire protectionPrepares contract drawings and specifications in conjunction with project team for delivery to clientDocuments study progress/results through the preparation of memos, minutes and reports as a record of eventsLiaises with clients to exchange information re: project progressUse Revit to create and maintain building mechanical models, drawings and schedulesDevelop designs which meet client requirements and adhere to a high standard of form, fit, function, appearance and qualityIdentify discrepancies in drawings and information and resolve through appropriate methods and channelsPrepares site visit reports by interpreting findings to give clear recommendations and direction to clientsReviews shop drawings and design details by analyzing for continuity and viabilityQualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent educationMinimum 4 years in Revit operation and design working on building projectsAdvanced knowledge of Revit MEPInterest in buildings, commissioning, energy management, sustainability and constructionStrong demonstrated written and oral communication skills in EnglishKnowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to handle multiple projects with the ability to effectively prioritizeStrong relationship and interpersonal skills requiredAbility to work effectively in a team environment with a strong customer service commitmentComprehensive Benefits to meet the needs of you and your family:
