Summary:Apiture is seeking a highly collaborative front-end/UX engineer with an architecture background for our Design System team. This role will work on design-driven initiatives including building our design system components, helping to implement components across our products, and building front-end interfaces that meet design specs.

This role will work closely with the UX design team, the other engineers on the Design System team, and the overall Apiture engineering org, ensuring that the design system is meeting user needs and following best practices. This role will also help determine best avenues for user feedback with the other Design System team members and find ways to continuously improve the experience for both our internal Design System users and the end users of our software.

Location (Wilmington, NC, Austin, TX, Remote): We have offices in Wilmington, NC and Austin, TX and while some positions need to be office based, we will consider remote candidates based on their time zone.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience with Angular building accessible components leveraging Angular CDK, CLI and a strong proficiency in TypescriptProficiency with Git, package and release management as well as semantic versioningExperience with HTML5, CSS3 and Web AnimationsUnderstanding of design tokens, Figma and the Tokens Studio Figma pluginExperience building, scaling and theming design systemsStrong interest in and understanding of UX best practices and web accessibilityAbility to explain technology decisions to team members in varying roles and level of technological backgroundCollaborative team player who can work with designers and developers to determine technical and usage standardsPassion for great technical documentationExperience with Knapsack, or relevant experience in design system management and documentation systems.
