ResponsibilitiesWork with Application Team to develop reliable conveyor solutions.Develop designs using standards and best practice solutions.Review and revise designs to best meet customers' needsDetermine the best components for the desired outcome to meet specifications and customer needs.Design with ease of manufacture in mindUnderstand entire scope of project and communicate clearly the requirements both internal of the design as well as communication capacities and restrictions.Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to.Ensure adherence to customer supplied specification as well as internal design standards.Education and Experience
5-10 years' experience mechanical design of conveyors and associated hardwareKnowledge of raw materials2-year Solidworks/AutoCADAssociate degree in mechanical design (or Similar)Knowledge of AWS and ANSI standardsStrong working knowledge of machines and manufacturing processesKey Skills and Competencies
