The Denver office of SmithGroup is looking for a Interior Designer II to join our healthcare team.

Working with us, you will:

Manage projects, including negotiating project scope and fees, job production and quality, and lead construction administration efforts.Prepare, coordinate, and complete construction document packages.Consult with manufacturers, research and evaluate FF&E materials and products.Research information and create graphics for inclusion in marketing proposals and materials.Serve as a resource on interior design issues to others in the office, as well as oversee the design work of others to ensure integrated and cohesive design.Lead client presentations and visioning sessions to develop programs for clients.Be responsible for meeting project deadlines and budget constraints.An ideal candidate has:

A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent.Minimum 4 years of related experience and Health Care projects of varying types and complexity.LEED AP preferred. Architectural or Interior Design registration preferred.High proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD with 3-D modeling capabilities.Demonstrated ability to perform work involving independent judgment and to act as project coordinator and leader.The ability to produce and coordinate a complete set of construction documents for permitting and bidding on projects.

SmithGroup's competitive compensation and benefit package is designed to meet the needs of a diverse staff. The anticipated salary range for this position is $63,000 to $76,000 annually, at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for this position. Additionally, an employee in this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus on an annual basis. Our comprehensive benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances. We offer 3 weeks of paid time off within the first year of employment, with the option of purchasing additional time off, 8 paid federal holidays, and parental leave benefits.
