PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the guidance of the Contract Manufacturing Manager, the Production Expeditor will be responsible for supporting the operations team to achieve plant objectives. The primary responsibility for this position will be to support, administer, and sustain operational systems designed to improve velocity, flexibility, quality, and productivity of the different manufacturing products lines across the portfolio.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist in generating and reporting accurate production, scrap and hours worked numbers to drive improvement across the plant.Assist in inventory management and conducting cycle counts throughout the period.Conduct investigations/verification tied to material usage and report to operations teamAssist and at times lead process improvements tied to improvement in productivity, inventory accuracy and velocity.Perform daily assessments of supermarkets, WIP and assist in generating and submitting RM requests.Supports visual manufacturing workplace leveraging progressive 5S and visual controls.Substitute as a cell lead when needed.Assist in other Operation Administrative duties as assigned.Other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferredHighly self-motivated and self-directed1+ years in operations or supply chain management required, in chemical-based assembly preferredExperience and understanding of process flow, WIP management and process documentation.Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordinglyA positive attitude and a 'roll up your sleeves' mentality to get the job doneExcellent people skills - ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organizationMicrosoft Excel skills; Proficient in MS officeERP working knowledge highly preferredBENEFITS:
