The Product Design team is an influential team that steers the future UX of the Saturn application. Our Designers work closely with our founders, leaders, and cross-functional Product partners (Product Management, Growth, UXR, Data Science and Engineering) to create a comprehensive roadmap that delights our community.

The Role:

We're looking for a Product Designer to join our team. You will be a core part of a small but impactful Design organization that develops new features for our mobile application. This role has an outsized impact on our user experience and the product's evolution. Responsibilities will range from proposing groundbreaking ideas to refining the smallest interaction details. Your work will directly impact how millions of young people plan their day and interact with their friends and community!

What You'll Do:Conceptualize, design, and prototype innovative new features, building alignment with stakeholders and leadershipOwn the user experience for features end-endUnderstand user needs and continuously improve upon existing features in concert with PM, DS and UXRAssist with all parts of the design process from initial research and brainstorming to visual design to Eng hand off to polish and deliveryKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Excellent communication and presentation skillsOutstanding visual design skillsKnowledge and passion for interaction design and design systemsAbility to prototype interactive mobile experiencesAbility to think about high level product strategy connecting strategy to designSelf-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environmentYou use a data-informed approach to compliment Design thinkingYou have a growth mindset, willingness to consistently push the limits to grow the overall businessYou have a desire to build for the long term, valuing patterns and structures that allow for flexibility in an evolving productPreferred Qualifications:

BS / BA degree or equivalent years of experience4+ years of relevant mobile Product Design experienceA strong portfolio with past examples of mobile and consumer tech productsExpert proficiency in FigmaNot required, but highly valuable bonus skills: motion design, illustration

This role offers a competitive compensation package with an estimated annual salary range of $160,000 to $185,000, exclusive of bonuses, commissions, and equity. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors. We welcome direct conversations with each candidate about compensation in all of our initial calls. We are committed to considering individual factors and welcoming direct conversations about compensation.

Saturn embraces both a hybrid and fully remote work environment. Those team members who live locally come together to collaborate in the New York City office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
