Associate Art Consultant
to be at the heart of our art projects' success. The Associate Art Consultant will help the Senior Art Consultants and Curators to design, commission, and execute art programs for commercial properties. They possess a balance of creativity and analytical thinking, seamlessly blending intuition with logic, and are equally adept at artistic endeavors and practical tasks.
Key Accountabilities:Artwork and framing specification integrityPartnership with Art Consulting teamArtist CommunicationResearch and narrative writingKey Responsibilities:
Ensure all artwork specifications are detailed, accurate, and consistently updated.Understand the intentions behind each project and effectively convey this understanding to the broader team.Collaborate closely with senior art consultants and other team members to understand project needs and deliverables.Regularly provide updates on art selection progress, ensuring transparency and open communication.Assist in the process of art sourcing, keeping in mind the client's needs, budget, and the intended ambiance of the space.Stay updated with current art trends, ensuring selections are both contemporary and resonate with diverse audiences.Requirements
Skills and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in art, art history, or related field is a plus.Prior experience in art consultancy or related roles is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Passion for art and a keen eye for detail.A team player with the ability to work independently.Solution-oriented and proactive in approach.Adaptable to changing project requirements and deadlines.To be successful in this role, you must be:
Creative: Ability to think innovatively and tackle problems with a blend of logic and structured reasoning.Flexible: Skilled in switching seamlessly between creative brainstorming and methodical problem-solving.Detail-Oriented: Capable of paying close attention to details while keeping the overall vision in mind.Artistic and Practical: Possesses a strong appreciation for art and aesthetics, along with practical skills and a focus on realistic outcomes.Empathetic and Objective: Able to empathize with others' feelings while remaining unbiased and objective in decision-making.
