Reports to: Director of Marketing

Overview/Job Purpose

The marketing assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts and helping to drive the success of our campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing and contributeto the growth of our company.

Summary of Primary Duties:

Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies and campaigns.

Design and create engaging content for social media platforms and other marketing channels.

Monitor and report on social media campaign productivity.

Assist with the planning and coordination of advertising sales activities.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep our social media marketing strategies innovative and effective.

Collaborate with Marketing Director to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Ensure marketing, promotional, and event materials are maintained and distributed appropriately.

Performance Requirements:

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with the public.

Strong knowledge of social media and content creation with Facebook and Instagram.

Strong graphic design skills and experience with Canva or similar tools preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Experience in marketing preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Proficient in Social Media platforms to include Facebook, Instagram, TikTok (LinkedIn and Hootsuite a plus)
