OverviewWe are seeking a Senior User Experience Researcher to join our Digital Product Design team at Waters. This role allows for a blend of remote work and in-office presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, and a passion for improving user experience.

Responsibilities

Engage in both

remote user research (such as usability studies, surveys, and interviews) and

in-person testing

with users in both our Milford and Cambridge offices.

Recruit participants who represent the target audience for each test

Plan and conduct user research, including methods such as usability studies, interviews, surveys, and user testing.

Analyze and synthesize research findings to gain deep insights into user needs and behaviors.

Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to translate research insights into product improvements.

Advocate for the user by presenting research findings to customers and influencing product strategy.

Conduct software testing, ensuring the functionality, reliability, and performance of the product.

Collaborate with the development team to identify, log, and track software defects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction, psychology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in user experience research or a related field.

Proficiency in a variety of user research methods and tools.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate research findings.

Experience with user research in agile development environments.

Experience with data analytics software (ex. Datadawg) is a plus.

Understanding chromatography systems and related software is a plus.
