Journeyman- Graphic Designer
Position Summary
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a Journeyman Graphic Designer to support a federal government client in McLean, Virginia; positions are also available in Bethesda, MD.
Location: Bethesda, MD
FLSA Status: Regular, Full-Time
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph
Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
Position Type: On-Site
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Supports ODNI to develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
Utilizes request management tools such as NarQuest to provide swift, high-quality customer support for communication requests
Coordinates with UI/UX designers, Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience
Creates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
Assists in developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online
Provides design services, including website graphics, social media graphics, HTML newsletter graphics, and support for print projects
Ensures products conform to all production standards, Copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
Conducts technical quality checks
Manages an approved concept and builds it in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles
Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps
Minimum Qualifications
Top Secret/SCI
Counterintelligence Polygraph
BS/BA +3 years OR 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
