POSITION SUMMARY:As Intercept continues to build its position as the leader in rare and serious liver disease, we are seeking a Director, US HCP Marketing. This position will be responsible for shaping the strategic development and tactical execution for HCPs including professional promotion and Promotional Medical education. This person will be accountable to meet key strategic imperatives of the brand and contributing to revenue performance in the U.S to meet and exceed goals. Tactical execution will include development of marketing collateral, peer-to-peer content, and training resources.

Responsibilities include management of core agencies including advertising agency (agency of record) and promotional medical education agency.The position requires a highly motivated individual who can work independently, think strategically, and collaborate cross-functionally to accomplish complex deliverables on tight timelines and to perform all responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures and training.The incumbent will work closely with multiple functional groups across the organization, including but not limited to Field Sales, Field Medical, Market Research, Medical Affairs, Sales Training, Regulatory and Legal.The role is based in our Morristown, NJ Headquarters with flexibility for remote work 2-3 days per week.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and execute HCP marketing strategies, positioning, messaging and tactics to drive performance of OCALIVA® through insights gained from market research and advisory boardsLead our US and Thought Leader efforts including Key Opinion Leader identification, mapping and engagement plan including congress strategiesLead Peer-to-Peer promotional speaker program strategy, content, and executionPlan and help facilitate advisory boards and other engagement activities to inform both commercial strategy and content developmentDevelop the annual marketing strategic and tactical plan for OCALIVA® and manage the variables that impact the successful execution of the plan. This represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position.

Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including, but not limited to, experience, skillset, and performance.The salary range listed is just one component of our total compensation package.
