Join us for the opportunity to influence how Amazon Music engages fans, artists, and creators on a global scale.Key job responsibilitiesA Technical Program Manager manages goal deliverables across multiple software development teams in the Amazon Music org. They dive deep into customer requirements and technical details to ensure "the pieces fit together": customer experience, software interfaces, project timelines, impact measurements, etc. They earn trust with stakeholders across the org (Product Managers, SDMs, SDEs, Applied Scientists) and influence prioritization and technical decisions.They partner closely with development managers to plan team roadmaps and adjust them as needed based on scope changes or new findings. They also support technical contributions from other teams and ensure software development tenets and best practices are upheld.They may also take on org-wide initiatives such as business or goal reviews, operational excellence or efficiency improvements. They are an active contributor to strategic annual planning for the wider org.About the teamAs part of the Music Personalization team, you will help launch new recommender and playlist products and lead initiatives that improve how customers interact with them on the Amazon Music app and on Alexa-enabled devices.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Seattle, WA, USABasic Qualifications- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- 3+ years of software development experience- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmapsPreferred Qualifications- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadershipAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
