Lead Web Developer responsibilities includeparticipating in the entire software development life cycle, debuggingapplications, maintaining existing code and implementing newfunctionality. As a lead you will beexpected to partner with stakeholders, and mentor other developers directly,suggesting best design practices, technologies and innovate solutions toproposed problems. This position is hands-on with strong knowledge of cloud-basedarchitecture and modern design practices. The senior will need the ability totranslate our business needs into client-friendly functions that will expandour website's influence in our industry.
PRIMARYDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead projects to improvereliability, scalability, security and performance of our ecommerce platform.Build strong relationships withbusiness stakeholders, infrastructure teams, vendors, and other IT teams.Drive projects and improvement activities across our team of teams.Execute full software developmentlife cycle (SDLC)Determine operational feasibilityand provide technology solutions with requirements.Developmicroservice cloud-based architecture that integrates across our entiretechnology suite. Including web, ERP, and third-party.Improvingsystem quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developingstandard operating proceduresMaintain,support and upgrade existing infrastructure.Focuson unit testing, integration testing for quality assurance.Introduceand suggest technologies or ideas that help support business needs with athorough understanding of computer systems, in order to recognize anyhardware limitations that could impact software design.SKILLS
