Nextdoor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our Monetization team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing experiences that empower neighbors and businesses to build stronger communities while also contributing to Nextdoor's monetization strategies. You will have the opportunity to work at the intersection of user experience, product design, and business tools, shaping the future of the Nextdoor product as it continues to grow globally.

Your responsibilities will include:Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Nextdoor products as we continue to growCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define and create new experiences that align with Nextdoor's monetization goals and user needsCreate experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfacesEnvision, design, and ship delightful, user-centered, cross-platform experiences that build the fabric of local communities around the globeLead cross-functional brainstorms, discussions, and design reviewsTake on challenging projects and turn them into designs that are intuitive, accessible, and user-friendlyAdvance the standard for craft on our team. Ensure design consistency and quality across all platforms and devicesBuild in-person relationships with team members and contribute to the KIND culture that Nextdoor valuesParticipate in in-person Nextdoor events, trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and other team building exercisesBuild in-person relationships with team members and contribute to the KIND culture that Nextdoor valuesWhat You'll Bring To The Team5+ years of professional experience in user experience and product designStrong sense of empathy for customer needs and insights as well as an intuitive grasp of the business problems we're solvingExperience in strategic product thinking, developing product goals, and making data-driven decisionsExcellent UX, interaction, and visual design skills with proficiency in designing across multiple platformsDetail-oriented with the ability to lead design processes and drive design consistency and qualityStrong communication and presentation skills, capable of representing design work to diverse audiencesExperience designing for businesses and driving revenue would be helpful

Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.

The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $158,000 to $211,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.

We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.

Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. We have you covered! Nextdoor employees can choose between a variety of great health plans.
