Manager, UX Researcher

Paxful is hiring an experienced User Experience Researcher to help define and drive the future of our product. You'll be a strategic partner, collaborating with product and business leaders to identify and prioritize research topics, informing all stages of product development. You'll explore user behaviors, motivations and pain points by conducting research such as 1:1 interviews, focus groups, ethnography, surveys, usability testing, and logs analysis. You will create a deep understanding for our users and deliver research insights that inform business, product, and design decisions, playing a critical role in designing useful, usable, and insightful products.

What you'll do:

Partner with product and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize research topics in a rapidly-changing environmentBe a thought leader in the UX research domain, advocating for the user and building a culture that prioritizes human-centric design principles.Design and execute comprehensive user research studies using a wide variety of methods including usability testing, interviews, user behavior analysis and surveys.Craft compelling research insights that not only evaluate existing designs but also spark future product ideation.Analyze research data and translate findings into actionable recommendations that significantly improve the user experience.

Communicate research results with clarity and creativity, utilizing written reports, compelling visualizations, UX flows, and other innovative solutions.

Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure research insights are embedded into both strategic and tactical decision-making. You'll bridge the gap between qualitative and quantitative data, presenting a holistic understanding of user needs.Continuously measure and track the impact of product changes on user behavior and sentiment over time.Develop an in-depth analysis of real customers, defining research-based, archetypal user personas for both global and regional user groupsChampion best practices in user research, establishing robust processes and methodological toolkits for the team.Foster a culture that prioritizes human-centric design, constantly seeking to understand customer needs, pain points, and behavior.Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in user experience research, ideally within the fintech or tech space.A strong understanding of user research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research techniques.Proven ability to design and conduct user research studies independently, with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills.Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to translate complex research findings into clear and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.A passion for user-centered design and a relentless focus on understanding and meeting user needs.Experience with data visualization and user experience documentation tools.Knowledge of website architecture, mobile applications, user interfaces, and various digital platforms.The ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Bonus points if you have:

Experience with crypto or fintech products or a strong understanding of peer-to-peer marketplaces.Experience with UX and UI design and figma software
