Glowbar is a skincare company with a people-centric mentality. Our singular mission is to help people feel confident in their skin, so we created the first-to-market, custom, 30-minute facial experience to make skincare more accessible, efficient, and effective. Each studio is equipped with expert estheticians who provide professional-grade results at an affordable price-point.
After launching in New York City in 2019, Glowbar has quickly scaled with locations across the northeast with national expansion on the horizon. As we continue to grow, we aim to maintain the special glow that sets us apart from traditional spas.
Glowbar is seeking passionate and service-oriented experience associates who believe in a "customer-first" mentality to be a part of our founding team! Our experienced associates will be continuously empowered to use their customer-oriented gut to make decisions. As long-term team members, experienced associates are also collaborative team members, with a mind geared towards testing and learning to set a new standard for skincare.

Care for clients:
Create a safe space for clients to navigate through our modern experienceGuide clients through check-in and retail check-outProvide a friendly, compassionate environment, ensuring that each client receives an extraordinary, memorable experience as they navigate through the space and our retail assortmentProvide clients with product knowledge and at-home routine suggestionsEmail/text clients to assist in appointment booking/rebooking, follow up, and offering to answer any last-minute questionsCare for our team:
Provide feedback to management on progress and challenges, paired with suggestionsCollaborate with estheticians on opportunities to improve the experience to better support and inform clientsAssist Management in daily studio tasks and projectsMaintain front of studio retail inventory & operating supplies on regular intervalsEnhance and uphold standards, policies & procedures through various means of communicationAssist with social media on an as-needed basisParticipate in events onsite/offsiteREQUIREMENTS :
1+ years of hospitality experience (i.e. restaurant, retail, hotel, salon/spa, etc.) with a proven track record of superior customer serviceMust love hospitality and interacting with customersStrong understanding of retail operations, policies and proceduresMust have the ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environmentMust be a forward-thinking problem solver with a strong work ethic who has compassion for employees and clientsPassion for beauty, skincare, learning and trying new things every day!Must have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule - must have weekend, holiday, and some early morning/midday/late evening weekday availabilityPhysical and mental health, personal development and work-life balance are key to growth and well-being.
