Accountabilities

Grow awareness of BioLife and of plasma donation overall and create advocacy, inspiring plasma donation evangelism

Partner across the marketing team to establish and drive the creative vision of BioLife

Manage creative projects, timelines, and budgets effectively, ensuring timely delivery of assets within allocated resources

Inspire creative executioners from concept to completion, ensuring that work is on brand, on strategy, on schedule, and executed with excellence

Move bold, creative work for a variety of channels, including traditional, digital, and out-of-home, through the system with efficiency

Design, document, and enforce a best-in-class creative process

Lead brainstorming sessions and creative workshops to generate innovative ideas and solutions that drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty

Dimensions and Aspects

Create the vision for campaigns in partnership with performance and channel leaders and collaborate with creative support, largely provided by agency partners, to execute

Act as a working leader, generating your own ideas and experiences while inspiring your teams to do the same

Maintain a high level of accuracy, quality, and impact across all creative projects

Translate marketing objectives into strategically sound ideas and manage the creative process from concept to completion

Responsible for managing concepting and executing photoshoots

Maintains a well-organized and easily searchable library of on-brand photography and creative assets

Identify opportunities to leverage existing creative in new ways, achieving campaign goals with efficiency

Lead effective presentations that create excitement, persuade stakeholders, and demonstrate how the creative delivers on the strategy

Stay informed about industry trends, channel and creative best practices, and emerging technologies in design, advertising, and branding to continuously elevate the brand's creative output

Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment within the broader team, encouraging open communication, idea-sharing, and professional development opportunities

Serve as a brand ambassador, advocating for creative excellence and brand integrity across all touchpoints and interactions

Engage in relationships with external creative partners and agencies acting as a key stakeholder in creative decisions

Regularly interface with senior leadership and put them first, listening to understand their obstacles and hunting for solutions that are innovative and fresh

Support the design of executive-level BioLife presentations as needed

This role requires the incumbent to rationalize both strategically and tactically, and be able to present clear recommendations and risks to senior leaders and key stakeholders

Education and Experience Requirements

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in creative roles within marketing, advertising, or branding agencies, with a focus on creative development and execution; agency experience is preferred

Proven track record of leading and managing teams to deliver high-quality, on-time, impactful creative work

Strong understanding of branding principles, design aesthetics, and creative storytelling techniques

Experience working closely with clients or stakeholders to understand brand objectives, develop creative strategies, and present concepts and solutions

Proficiency in graphic design software and creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch

Experience across various mediums (photography, video production) and channels

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives

Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and evolving priorities

Knowledge of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and emerging trends in design and advertising

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and concepts effectively to diverse audiences

Proven ability to manage creative projects from concept to execution, including budget management and resource allocation

A passion for creativity, innovation, and continuous learning in the field of marketing and branding

Expert in Microsoft applications (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

Internal and External Contacts

Job is accountable to BioLife Head of Marketing. Primary interaction will be with BioLife marketing, operations, functional heads, and other BioLife team members within headquarters and plasma centers

Other Job Requirements

Est. 15% travel (may include global travel) to effectively interact with team members at offsite meeting locations, collection centers, labs and manufacturing facilities.

Est. 20% of role may require working during non-traditional hours

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$149,100.00 - $234,300.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
