Position Overview:
Creshendo is seeking a motivated Fundraising and Grant Writing Volunteer to support our mission of empowering refugee and migrant populations. In this role, you will work closely with our founder, board members, and the fundraising team to secure financial resources needed for our programs and initiatives through both fundraising activities and grant writing.Work Culture and Opportunity:

This experience will be a valuable addition to your professional profile as you help shape the future of our newly founded organization.ResponsibilitiesAssist in researching potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities.Research potential international grant opportunities and funding sources that align with our mission.Develop and implement fundraising strategies.Write and edit grant proposals, ensuring they are compelling, well-structured, and meet all requirements.Create compelling fundraising campaigns and materials.Help organize fundraising events and campaigns.Maintain donor and grant databases and records.Prepare supporting documents, budgets, and attachments for projects and grant applications.Assist in writing grant reports.Communicate with grantors and funding organizations as needed.Engage with donors and supporters through various communication channels.Monitor and report on the status of grant applications.Contribute innovative ideas to enhance our fundraising and grant-seeking efforts.Stay informed about grant-related trends, best practices, and opportunities.QualificationsAt least 1-2 years of experience in fundraising and grant writing.A proven track record of raising money for startups.Reliable and able to work independently.Detail-oriented, organized, and excellent research skills.Strong writing skills with the ability to craft persuasive and coherent grant proposals.Experience in fundraising principles and nonprofit grant-seeking.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.Passion for our mission and a strong desire to make a difference.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to 15-20 hours per week.Creshendo welcomes volunteers from diverse backgrounds.
