Additionally, this modern luxury hotel offers 6,900 square feet of indoor light-filled meeting space featuring 15-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and access to a wrap-around outdoor balcony allowing Denver's fresh, crisp air in. With sweeping 180-degree views of the Rocky Mountains and downtown Denver, the hotel's rooftop has a 75-foot pool and rooftop bar. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDriving business transient and group business through various networks, cold calling and visiting local businesses in your immediate market.Effectively managing the workflow through the CI/TY system, properly responding and filing data according to company and brand standards.Actively participating in promotional, community, and industry events- cultivating a strong network.Understanding not only the hotel's operations, including room types, meeting capacities, service, features and benefits, but also the lifestyle-driven aspects of the luxury Autograph concept.Reviewing monthly STAR reports and creating action plans as assigned.Communicating with Revenue Management and GM to ensure that pricing is appropriate and adjust selling strategies as needed.Required Experience

Minimum two years Director of Sales experience in full-service hotels of similar size and caliber.Minimum of four years of progressively responsible sales management experience.Experience directing a high-profile public relations effort.Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.Ability to interpret and perform basic computer functions, including MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ideal candidate has experience with Marriott CI/TY.
