Position SummaryHeath Ceramics is seeking a dynamic Design Program Manager to join our team. This role is a pivotal cross-functional position, collaborating closely with our Product Development, Manufacturing, Creative, Operations, and Sales teams. We seek an experienced collaborator who drives consensus and fosters goodwill among diverse stakeholders, guiding them seamlessly through our collective journey, and is eager to drive a wide variety of projects.

Position Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets while proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and issuesLead cross-functional project teams, collaborating with Product Development, Manufacturing, Creative, Operations, and Sales departments to ensure alignment and successful project executionOwnership of the Creative Team's program management, including quarterly planning and monthly sprintsOversee all Creative Team project management, providing mentorship and guidance to a small team of PMs, with one direct reportCoordinate team off-sites and internal team-building activitiesAdvocate for and integrate a high level of design excellence into diverse areas of the company, empower others to do the sameDefine best practices for organizing and creating processes within the Creative Team that help carry out and explore Heath's design vision in a holistic wayContinuously optimize end-to-end processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, scalability, and agility across all areas of operationsQualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience7+ years experience in project and program management, ideally with a focus on physical product developmentAn alignment to Heath's values of sustainability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and preservation of craftExceptional attention to detail, and the capacity to develop an understanding of when to pursue perfection and when good is good enoughExcellent communication and organizational skillsExcellent written EnglishPassion for process, innovation, and designAbility to handle and prioritize multiple projects of different sizes and durations simultaneouslyTakes direction openly and positively, and is very detail-orientedNice to have:

Experience with Asana, Google Suite, FigmaExperience with or interest in various project management methodologies

Work Environment/Hours/ CompensationThis position is a full-time, exempt role, working Monday - Friday. The Heath team is distributed across California, with offices in Sausalito and San Francisco. While we welcome remote work, time together each week in person is valuable and important. This role is expected to work at least 2 days onsite in our SF and Sausalito offices. This position pays $112,000 - $130,000, based on experience. This role reports to the Creative Operations Director.
