About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Studio Manager to join our Studio team, onsite at our Newport Beach, CA location. The primary responsibility of the Studio Manager encompasses all business tasks to run and operate the showroom, including administrative tasks, client service, hiring, managing expectations and goals, motivating staff and overseeing logistics (i.e.: shipping and receiving). Develop team members and directly impact company growth.

Responsibilities include:

Maintain an efficient and highly functional studio, ensuring that the team is meeting a high standard of client serviceConsistently seek ways to improve the client experience by designing and implementing efficiency improvement initiativesRecruit, hire and retain Client Service Specialist and Procurement Specialist. Provide sufficient staffing for Studio needs at all timesPartner with Neiman's teams to create a working relationship. Attend Store or Leadership meetings as a representative of FashionphileWork with Neiman's to generate business for both companies, this includes educating Neiman's associates about Fashionphile. Participate in new hire orientationDeliver consistent feedback of performance and conduct quarterly, mid-year and annual employee reviews, as well in-the-moment coaching and one-on-onesLearn the overall roles and functions of all departments including Procurement, Client Experience, Receiving and ShippingUtilize ADMIN Calendar to schedule appointments to maximize Studio productivity and flowStay up to date on Fashionphile services, policies and procedures and communicate any updates to the Studio teamImmediate and open communication to resolve all client concerns, complaints and inquiries within a timely mannerCreate quotes for Studio clients using employee's experience, training manuals and provided guides to identify the brand, style, and store price and create appropriate consignment and/or buyout offers that adhere to current buying strategiesCommunicate effectively any announcements, updates, guidance to Studio team as relayed by management and HQCreate a positive environment of accountability at every level, setting the pace by showing strong follow-through and constant coaching of all Showroom personnelParticipate in cross-training and be flexible to perform varying roles whenever necessaryMeets studio daily, weekly and monthly goalsWhat we are Looking For:

Must have 3 years of experience in retail sales with a minimum of 1 year experience managing people in a retail and service or equivalent environmentMust demonstrate a proven track record of recruiting high-performing and accountable teamsA true passion for helping people and creating a positive client experienceKnowledge of high-end luxury products and accessoriesHighly organized with focus on execution, problem solving and improving processesConfident and professional verbal and written communication in a challenging, fast-paced environmentExhibits strong organizational skills with extreme attention to detailAbility to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environmentExceptional time management skills and accountabilityTeam player with an ability to work collaborativelyWhat We Offer

Compensation: Our Target Hiring Range for this position is $75,000-$80,000. Please note that this range is based on work location, experience and alignment to requirements of the role.
