Group Design Director
We're looking for a dynamic creative leader with an amazing portfolio of work to direct teams through industry-leading design centric projects, creating brand experiences, from print to digital to fully integrated campaigns. This position requires impeccable design sensibilities, strong conceptual and strategic skills, management and mentoring abilities, proven communication and presentation expertise. This person must also embody our core values of partnership, passion, integrity and courage.
Responsibilities
Create strong and effective internal partnerships, leading collaboration across integrated teamsWork closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and creating strategic concepts and following through to meticulous executionPresent ideas and work with team, senior creative personnel and clients Partner across disciplines to develop the strategic intent of projects while considering the audience/customer and the intended goalsActively coach and mentor creative talent, helping develop their skills and creative outputRequired Skills
A commitment to high quality workExceptional verbal and written communication skills to persuade and motivate clients, engage and inspire collaboration with team members and peersAbility to build productive and positive relationships with all internal and external team partnersQualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience12 or more years of experience in designThree or more years of experience effectively leading a teamExpertise in Adobe Creative SuiteRetail and experiential knowledge highly valuedBased in or open to relocate to MinneapolisAbility to travel as needed
