Job LocationEMERGENCY VEHICLE SPECIALISTS - HOUSTON, TX
Description
Operates and maintains all Graphics Department printing equipment, including large format flatbed inkjet printer, computer-aided sign making equipment (vinyl plotter) and software programs.Trims, weeds, and masks graphics.Maintain strong lines of communication to accurately relay project details.Work closely with team to schedule projects and maintain job board.Proofreading of prints and conducting quality assurance to ensure accuracy.Minimize waste by efficiently using ink, media, laminates, foils, and vinyl.Order materials as needed.Work on different projects simultaneously.Operate company vehicle to run errands and drop off shipments.Assist graphic installers as needed.Maintains a clean and organized workspace.Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.Operates Epson SureColor S80600L.Operates Graphtec FC9000-160 64 cutter.Operates cold roll laminator to laminate graphics.
Qualifications

Ability to follow both written and oral instructions as well as communicate well with others.Strong attention to detail.Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.Ability to read measuring devices.Standing for long periods of time, finger dexterity, and sight (ability to distinguish color differences in prints and blemishes for quality control and for close-up precise work).Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED2+ years' experience in manufacturing or production preferredExperience with graphics production a plus but not requiredValid driver's license with clean driving record
