About this position

The Database Marketing Manager is responsible for developing strategies and implementing programs to activate, engage, retain, cross-sell and increase customer LTV for our Plexus business. The role will develop end to end promotional and lifecycle-based communication programs reaching multiple customer segments across email and mobile, assess performance, and optimize. The Database Marketing Manager will run the operations of the database marketing team and be accountable for deadlines and successful execution; the role will also partner with internal and external teams to navigate strategy and execution which will be a key tenant of this role.

You are responsible for utilizing best practices in leveraging our database and communications platforms to develop cross-channel customer journeys and set-up rules based creative messaging. This includes implementing life-cycle strategies, marketing automation, user segmentation/scoring, surveys, and leveraging dynamic/triggered messaging to optimize campaign responsiveness.You work in partnership with the creative team, product marketing, as well as internal customers to develop and implement end-to-end journey and life-cycle campaigns which include campaign planning and design, target criteria selection, list management, campaign health monitoring and post campaign analysis.You provide the required data and analysis to gauge campaign efficacy while ensuring reporting automation and accuracy.You support content management strategy to include inventory of current assets, mapping those to appropriate buyer personas and stage in buying journey, and identification of gaps in available content and sales tools. Partner on seasonal and annual communication plans; assist with the creation of direct mail, SMS, email, and mobile initiatives.You are responsible for the accuracy/quality assurance of all email/SMS campaigns, including error-free copy, imagery, links, and targeted segments. Develop and manage a dynamic campaign calendar, calendar timelines, and calendar prioritization all based upon approvals, key dates, and channel best practices.You execute Testing: A/B split test, audience splits, dynamic personalization, campaign attribution, email marketing tests, and leverage other testing results (web) to identify optimal messaging, design, cadence, etc. for our target audience. Report on results & champion optimization. Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution, as required.You stay attune to the changing email marketing and SMS channels, and contribute new ideas towards growth & optimization, as well as best practices. Liaison to customer service for data and campaign issues, as needed.You provide operational planning and execution for complex and automated communication journeys and business rules that drive content, triggers, audience segmentation and channel selection/cadence; quickly identify and troubleshoot any performance issues and demonstrate an ability to drive successful resolutions; manage schedule of deployment to optimize user response/experience and actively manage contact list size & health; develop, set up, execute and own on-going test plan.You oversee email campaign life-cycle. Responsible for campaign QA and UAT process including proof reading, email rendering, brand guideline requirements, CAN SPAM requirements, audience validation, and campaign approval process.You should have

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fieldYou have a minimum of 5 years of experience with hands-on email, lifecycle and/or CRM marketingYou have proven experience in campaign and journey developmentYou have a strong knowledge of data analytics and utilizing data to impact business decisionsAbout Plexus
