Lochner, a leader in transportation engineering, is currently seeking an experienced Graphics and Wayfinding Design Specialist who can utilize concepts standards and ideas to create innovative graphic design solutions to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current Adobe and indesign software including 3D models/rendering and collaborate with multiple teams to develop graphic designs for a wide range of projects.

Your Impact:Communicate ideas and information through visual concepts including 3D model/renderings using various design softwareAssist in concept design, design development and construction support for wayfinding/signage projectsDevelop wayfinding and signage plans/layouts, maps and other graphics and visual elementsPerform occasional site visits to document, photograph and perform assessmenst of existing signage and wayfinding systemsPrepare aesthetically appealing layouts, exhibits and PowerPoint presentations for various projectsMay assist and supervise other team members/interns on various project assignmentsObtain input from Manager and work independently and with other teams to provide innovative graphic design solutions to meet project specifications and deadlines.Who are you:

Degree in Graphics Design, Digital Media or related field preferred.4 years or more with graphic design experience including 3D modeling software, experience in engineering, architecture, or construction management industry preferredProficiency with Adobe creative Suit software, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is required. Experience with After Effect, Premier Pro, Dimension is an advantage.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and windows operating system is a must.Proficiency with modeling software 3DS Max, Revit, SketchUp or similar is required. Experience with AutoCAD, Sign CAD is a plusAdvanced understanding of scale and composition technique with a strong foundation in visual storytelling.A passion for creating user-friendly and intuitive wayfinding solutions including directional signage, maps and other visual elements. Prior experience with developing wayfinding systems and user-focused design is a plus.Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking and communication skills and attention to detail.Commitment
