Senior Director of Marketing . Reporting directly to the head of Direct to Consumer business, this role is responsible for leading the consumer-facing marketing and brand strategy for the Hello Sunshine brand and new to market sub-brands including Shine Away, The Hello Sunshine Collective, and The Bright Side podcast.As a key leader in the future of our brands and our partners, you will play a central role in growing awareness, driving engagement, overseeing the consumer journey to new direct-to-consumer experiences, and fostering loyalty and love for our brands. This includes developing the brand strategy and marketing approach, managing the internal and external branding for Hello Sunshine, Shine Away, and The Bright Side, maintaining an annual campaign calendars, owning the relationship with the PR agency, and working with cross-functional teams to execute on the strategies developed. You'll be responsible for creating and leading the execution teams across all promotional activities, marketing programs, and product launches as well as monitoring and analyzing business results to recommend opportunities for improving plans and their execution. This role requires a candidate with significant experience in crafting strong brand identities with the consumer at the center to drive deep audience engagement and growth.

You'll be collaborating with everyone involved on the marketing journey - agency, creative, social, and growth teams.

The role will guide the creation of tailored, meaningful content, campaigns, and media solutions that bring brand clients’ strategies and goals to life across all touchpoints and audiences. As a player/coach you'll be the strategic leader who will jump in and work on developing and implementing a comprehensive integrated marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives, drives brand partnership revenue, and creates meaningful connections with consumers.

Responsibilities Include:Developing the strategic marketing plans for Hello Sunshine and the derivative brands including Shine Away, The Hello Sunshine Collective, and the Bright Side.Creating and executing the promotional campaigns and press plansLead strategic working sessions with internal stakeholders like editorial, franchise, creative, production and social teams to create ground-breaking content and marketing programsCollaborate with the SVP of Marketing to shape our overarching marketing and creative strategy across channels and brandsProvide strategic guidance and creative direction to ensure all custom marketing ideas are representative of the innovative and premium position Hello Sunshine has in marketDevelop differentiated messaging and strategies to drive full funnel customer engagement across the portfolio of Hello Sunshine brandsLead the creation and execution of annual marketing calendar including campaigns, product launches, and promotionsBuilds and maintains deep understanding of customer journey, ensuring we have seamless experiences across all verticalsOwn all marketing KPI's; track and report on marketing and agency initiatives.Manage external press, creative and media agencies as neededMaintain an in-depth working knowledge of Hello Sunshine IP and programming, creator networks, talent, social platforms, emerging consumer channels and technologies, key tentpole events/experiences and the company’s various offerings.Lead the adoption of industry trends, strategic partnerships, and innovative solutions to integrate into Hello Sunshine sponsorship opportunities (i.e. AR/VR, experiential, gaming, etc)Own and manage the marketing budget, working closely with the VP of Operations to ensure effectiveness in operational executionOversee marketing team members and a network of freelance creatives, copywriters, social experts to ensure successRequirements10+ years leading high profile brands in a high performing marketing function; experience on culture-shaping, female led businesses a plusStrategic, creative thinker with the ability to turn ideas into holistic content programsExcellent writing and presentation skills – both in structure and contentStrong attention to detail, organized, and good management skillsExtremely self-motivated and performance driven- you thrive on seeing the impact of your work and know how to use data to quantify its success, identify areas for improvement, and tell a story to various stakeholders across the organizationStrong ability to build relationships and work with a variety of co-workers across multiple teams and disciplinesExcellent communication and presentation skills that can be adapted for audiences at all levels across the organizationExpert on modern marketing tools and platformsPrevious experience managing high-performing teams of executorsStrategic thinker with a deep understanding of consumer needs and the evolving consumer landscapeExperience leveraging social media, SEO, and PR to drive consumer actionsTrack record for building and growing loyal brand super fans and highly engaged brand communitiesBenefitsThis role's salary range is between $140,000-$175,000Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Short Term & Long Term DisabilityAt Hello Sunshine, we want team members with diverse and distinctive voices, dedicated to the mission of changing the narrative for women.
