Position Overview : The Communications Officer will play a key role in managing and enhancing the public image of Tone Talk Tel. This role involves creating, implementing, and overseeing communication programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its services. The Communications Officer will work closely with various departments to ensure all communications align with the company’s strategic goals and branding.Key Responsibilities :Media Relations : Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and other relevant stakeholders. Draft press releases, handle media inquiries, and organize press conferences.Internal Communications : Develop and distribute internal communications to ensure all employees are informed about company updates, events, and policies.Social Media Management : Manage and grow the company’s social media presence. Develop social media strategies, create content, and monitor engagement.Crisis Communication : Develop and implement crisis communication strategies. Act as the company spokesperson during crises and ensure clear, concise, and accurate information is disseminated.Event Planning : Coordinate and manage company events, including press conferences, product launches, and community events.Reporting and Analytics : Monitor and analyze communication activities and campaigns. Prepare reports on their effectiveness and suggest improvements.Qualifications :Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Experience in crisis communication and media relations.Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
