Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related fieldProven experience as a Senior Designer - Furniture with 7 to 10 years of experienceProficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.)Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processesExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and in a teamAttention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsPortfolio showcasing previous furniture design projects
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop creative and functional furniture designs based on client requirementsCollaborate with clients and internal teams to gather design specificationsCreate detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD softwareTake ownership of projects from concept development to final productionConduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitorsCoordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely production and deliveryEnsure designs comply with quality and safety standardsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior designers
