Seasons Trend Research on WGSN, High-street, Designer Labels and Inspiration brands Managing design process from conception through to final styling. Understanding Brands direction and aesthetic language In-depth research on fabrics, colors and silhouettes Concept creation and designing a full-fledged collection Collaborate and communicate with other designers for ideation of concept In-depth knowledge on denim & non-denim fabric bases Ability to create new denim wash techniques and design developments Trims and branding design, being involved in creative brand identity design Working with Marketing, Buying and Visual Merchandising team to provide creative input and align to Brands goal and objectives Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts for Denims & Non-Denims Ensuring product is in agreement with business strategy. Creating production sketches for development packages. Collaborating with technical team to ensure development packages are accurate. Reviewing product for style and fit during presentation. Presenting story, mood, color boards, and samples to buyers. Playing key role in tradeshow activities and effective presentation to business partners Skills
Proficient with Adobe - Photoshop Illustrator Fluent in MS Office Graphic skill set on Procreate Bachelors degree in fashion design or similar field 5+ years design experience. Availability to travel for research and product development. Ability to do sketches by hand. Excellent design and conceptual skills. Excellent sense of style and color. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
