Position Overview

Navistar has an exciting opportunity for a Product Marketing Consultant for International Work Truck branded products.As part of the Commercial Market Planning team, the Product Marketing Consultant will report to the Product Management Lead for International Work Trucks.In this position, the Product Marketing Consultant will manage the near-term product roadmap deliverables, and be the customer advocate for products, features, and services.

Responsibilities

Document scope in support of Business Strategy and Vehicle Level Attribute positioning, for new Program Charters

Support execution of programs in progress to provide scope details, cross functional scope trade-off decisions, and volume

Provide Voice of Customer input to Quality, Cost, Custom, and Supplier changes impacting the product offering and manage feature code take rate requests

Liaison with Platform Chief Engineer on key product attribute trade off decisions and Special Quotations

Liaison for Product Program status to the Business Unit

Define the value proposition for pricing and positioning of scope

Lead order conversion path and decisions for programs in conjunction with Program Manager, Business Unit leader and pricing

Manage near term product roadmap

Support Sales Tool updates and downloads

Support Configuration Managers with Program Master Model Index (Feature offering) development

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree

At least 12 years of marketing, sales or product-related experience

At least 2 years of lead experience

OR

Master’s degree

At least 8 years of marketing, sales or product-related experience

At least 2 years of lead experience

OR

At least 14 years of marketing, sales or product-related experience

At least 2 years of lead experience

Additional Requirements

Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
