Job Summary:
The Web Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining and advancing SCRAM Systems' Portfolio of public facing websites. This role requires excellent programming skills, a strong understanding of website technologies and demonstrated experience in a WordPress environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Designing and developing WordPress websites, including front-end and back-end development.
Collaborating with Website Marketing Manager to scope, roadmap and deliver website projects.
Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using industry best practices.
Proactively ensure that website versions, plugins, etc. are up to date, while maintaining site stability.
Overseeing website QA process, ensuring that websites are tested for functionality, responsiveness and performance across various browsers and devices.
Documenting processes and providing release notes for items released in sprints.
Proactively providing website enhancement recommendations.

Skills/Abilities:
Proven experience as a website developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
Proficient in web development languages and frameworks such as HTML/CSS, jQuery, PHP.
Experience with version control systems like GitHub
Experience with APIs such as: Yext, Google Maps, etc.
Experience with React is preferred.
Familiarity with WordPress is required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field.
Must have at least 3+ years in website development, including work on national-level websites.
