Job Title: Design Project ManagerJob DescriptionAs our new Design Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the development of executable designs for renovation, replacement, and new installations. You will manage design budgets for construction projects ranging from $500,000 to $1,000,000. Your responsibilities will include establishing creative strategies, budgets, and schedules for projects, implementing building standards for design delivery, and reviewing the quality and accuracy of design projects. You will serve as the primary point of contact for design, collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders, internal business partners, IT, and vendors. You will also provide reporting on the implementation of projects while in progress and upon completion, and travel for site visits.Hard Skills+ Experience managing the MEP design of public projects+ Managing the budget and scheduling of projects+ Lead design development+ Ability to take projects from design development, through QA/QC, to finish+ Bring MEP knowledge to the engineering teamSoft Skills+ Collaboration+ Coordination+ CommunicationJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Waukegan, Illinois and some days remote.Work EnvironmentOur office is located in Waukegan and offers a flex schedule from 8:30 to 5:00. We operate on a Hybrid Schedule, ideally, they want someone in the office frequently to start, then can taper off to 2/3 days at home.
