SEO Analyst_

The SEO Analyst will apply effective SEO strategies to ensure we attract and engage our target audience and convert visitors into customers for our portfolio of sites. This role will work primarily with our News and Sports sites.Successful candidates will have proven success working with, and optimizing, multiple sites. This role will report into the News SEO Director, but will also have a dotted line to the Sports SEO DirectorPrimary Responsibilities:Perform day-to-day SEO operations including keyword research, on page auditing, and technical auditingContinually audit and, working with the News and Sports SEO Directors and editorial teams, creatively adjust content strategy to maximize quality, converting trafficUse SEO tools effectively to identify opportunitiesMonitor SEO performance against agreed upon KPIsProvide reports to demonstrate success of SEO strategiesCollaborate with internal teams Product, Editorial, etc. to improve effectiveness of SEO tacticsStay up-to-date on SEO industry trends/newsBasic Qualifications:3 years of experience within an SEO roleStrong knowledge of SEO standard processes, search engine algorithms, and SEO toolsExperience working with SEO tools - crawlers, GSC, competitive analysis, keyword tools, etcExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIdeally, experience with News SEO Google News / Discover / Bing NewsIdeally, experience with Adobe AnalyticsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsPreferred Qualifications:4+ years of experience within an SEO roleCBS Sports, a year-round leader in cross-platform sports coverage, broadcasts a portfolio of events on the CBS Television Network, including THE NFL ON CBS; college football, including the SEC ON CBS; college basketball, including the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship; golf, including The Masters, PGA Championship and PGA TOUR; soccer, including the UEFA Champions League and NWSL; and CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR.In addition, the division includes CBS SPORTS NETWORK, the 24-hour cable home of CBS Sports which televises live sports programming throughout the year, including college football and basketball games, UEFA Champions League and Europa League action, Italy's Serie A matches, Concacaf national team competitions, as well as a full slate of original programming and studio coverage.CBS Sports also delivers an extensive lineup of global soccer coverage on Paramount+, including every UEFA club competition match, all Serie A matches as well as Concacaf national team competitions, and produces INSIDE THE NFL for Paramount+. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
