Rooted in denim, AG Jeans has grown to be recognized as a contemporary lifestyle brand encompassing a full range of premium apparel and accessories.This role is onsite in South Gate, CA.Responsibilities:Perform competitive market researchAssist in creating trend overviews for each seasonCreate inspiration boards with the Creative/Brand Director's guidanceAssist in designing seasonal collections and capsulesCreate Illustrator CAD sketchesSource and develop trim with vendorsIssue, track, and receive raw material sample POsIssue and track sample cut ticketsWork directly with the Pattern, Sample, R & D, Dye, and Production DepartmentsAssist with product development, fittings, and line presentationsCreate and maintain seasonal tracking charts and line sheetsPass off seasonal/capsule styles to the Production DepartmentSet up styles in product lifecycle management software - Shells, BOMs, MOs, POs, etc.Help maintain the design, storage, and sample areas.Requirements:AA or equivalent in fashion design2-5 years of denim design experienceUnderstanding of garment construction and denim wet and dry processesProficiency in MS Office, Illustrator, and PhotoshopExceptional attention to detail and follow-throughPossess strong communication and organizational skillsAbility to handle multiple projectsAbility to perform in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to partner with various constituencies in a team environment
