: Shall have successfully completed apolysomnography training program
accredited by the Commission onAccreditation of Allied Health Education Program
(CAAHEP)
such as theAccredited Sleep Technologist Education and Training
(A-STEP)
developed by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine
(AASM) .Certifications:in addition to
Basic Life Support : Shall
maintain
current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
credentials.Experience :Shall a minimum of
one (1) year experience
within the
last threeyears
conducting sleep studies in a patient care setting and a minimum of one year of experience scoring sleep studies.Board Certification
