Xenith Solutions is seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst (Web Applications) to join our team in support of a government contract for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

Job Description:Operations and Maintenance of a DHS ICE internet-based application.The scope of work includes support for systems and applications ensuring the systems remain operational and accessible to end users while continuing current efforts to stabilize the application, incrementally improving the system’s architecture, technology stack, and business functionality to achieve goals established by the System Owner, Product Owners, and the Office of the Chief Information Officer Information Technology Program Manager. Tasks include Performing preventive maintenance, applying security patches, upgrading software, monitoring interface and system performance, completing needed data fixes that the business cannot, and maintaining/updating technical system documentation.Additional tasks include develop, document and manage processes, procedures, people, material, and information required to support, maintain, and operate the software aspects of the systems and applications. This includes sustaining engineering, data management, configuration management, environment, and protection of critical program information, information technology security, supportability and interoperability functions, and technology refresh.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:The User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Developer will have the overall responsibility of working with the Information Technology Program Managers (ITPMs), Product Owners, and development teams to identify opportunities to improve the user experience of the public facing sites. The UI/UX developer will work with the Requirements team and Scrum Masters to prioritize design and development work toward enhancing the users experience with the application.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment.UX Certification. (Ex. Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification, Google UX Design Professional Certificate, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Certification, Certified Usability Analyst (CUA), Certified User Experience Professional (CUXP), Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC))Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Experience:

Experience with front-end web frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation, or materializes.Experience with asynchronous JavaScript based frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular.Experience with project and web asset bundlers such as Webpack, Browserify, Grunt, Gulp, or Bower.Experience with the distributed version control system Git.Experience with CSS preprocessors, such as Sass and SCSS.Experience with portable environment creation or containerization technologies, such as Docker, Apache Mesos, or Vagrant.Experience in producing wireframes and prototyping.Experience in UX writing.Experience in unit testing and regression testing.Experience with requirements tools and tracking (e.g. JIRA)Experience in critical thinking and creating workflows for how the user should engage with websites to complete a task quickly and efficiently.Experience in Java code development.
