About the Job

We have a great opportunity for a Director of Marketing Insights & Advanced Analytics. This exciting and highly visible role is part of the global Marketplace Insights team. In this role, you will help inspire, optimize, measure, and track marketing activations for the Levi's brand. This role will be critical in driving the strategic direction and optimization of our marketing initiatives through data-driven decision-making. You will help instill a culture of iterative testing and learning. You will partner with the global and regional Marketing teams to represent the voice of the consumer in the creation and execution of brand story-telling. This includes infusing consumer insights into marketing briefs, leveraging consumer feedback to evaluate media campaigns, and influencing investment choices through marketing mix modeling.

As part of the Global Marketplace Insights team, you are charged with helping set the global agenda and roadmap while applying and shaping global best practices in the product space. This role also partners with regional Marketplace Insights teams to enable translation of global insights at the local level. This role reports to the VP of Marketplace Insights.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the generation and delivery of insights to inform marketing strategy & activations, using consumer and market data, measurement and analytics techniques, and data science. Translate business issues into actionable consumer learning plansDrive improved marketing effectiveness and efficiency via advanced analytics tools. Define the approach and rollout of the global marketing ROI measurement and KPI programs.Inform development and evaluation of advertising campaignsLead social listening, leveraging social media tracking to inform and evaluate marketing and partnership strategies.Identify improved tools and ways of working to enable increased insight and actionability. Integrate Insights tools with other internal data resources.Leverage existing learnings and secondary sources as appropriate to address business questions and synthesize knowledge.Manage and develop an existing team of 3 direct reports

Qualifications• 9+ years of experience in marketing insights and advanced analytics

• Strong understanding of media mix modeling, incrementality testing, marketing spend optimization, and advanced analytics techniques.

• Experience with qualitative and quantitative research and applications across the consumer journey. Extensive experience in product and concept testing techniques.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field: Business, Psychology, Analytics

• Experience on the client side, ideally within FMCG or apparel industries, or as a consultant with a strong Insights organization

• Ability to diagnose issues, synthesize information, and relay outcomes in clear, actionable manner

• Fierce consumer advocate willing to take an unpopular, fact-based perspective in service to our consumers

• Knowledgeable about the Insights landscape, range of tools, capabilities, suppliers and best practices

• Experience managing and coaching direct reports

he expected starting salary range for this role is $190,100 to $250,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
