Job Description

The Washington Post is seeking a collaborative and data-driven digital marketing specialist to join our subscriptions team. This person will plan and execute omnichannel digital marketing campaigns that drive high-value actions and subscription starts. They will build WaPo's strategic and tactical foundation, and they will report to the Manager of Paid Media.

Build, execute and optimize digital marketing campaigns across multiple platformsOversee day-to-day campaign management including performance optimization, budget management, and audience developmentIdentify new media opportunities based on product mix and user experience. Make data and objective-backed cases for testing themShare learnings across teams to celebrate wins and bring light to actionable takeawaysUtilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor website traffic, user behavior, and campaign performance, and generate actionable insights to optimize our digital marketing programCollaborate with internal teams (e.g., design, product, lifecycle) to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with overall business objectives.Requirements:

3 years of digital marketing experience, building and executing campaigns that achieve different objectives throughout the customer journey (ex: app download, content view, subscription start)Experience with building, executing and optimizing digital marketing campaignsKnowledge of digital marketing best practicesExperience running end-to-end programs with digital marketing platforms (ex: Meta, Google)Ability to clearly and concisely articulate performance reporting and test results to stakeholdersAbility to educate teammates and stakeholders about digital marketing and its value, to drive collaboration and buy-in on program growthPreferred Requirements:

Benefits may vary based on the job, full-time or part-time schedule, location, and collectively bargained status.

The Washington Post includes salary ranges for certain positions to comply with local pay transparency laws. The salary range for this position is:64,300.00 - 96,500.00 USD Annual

The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
