• Research, identify, and present print trend direction, and create and present design boards for each season showcasing print direction. Create artwork and prints for each season.

• Work closely and collaborate with the design director, design, and buying teams to develop prints for seasons

• Collaborate with our product development and technical designers to set up engineered prints

• Translate seasonal concept direction into cohesive and innovative print collections

• Ensuring the print is consistent with lineplans, is being designed with cost and technical parameters in mind, working closely with design and material partners to ensure point of view is in line with overarching seasonal direction

• Communicate with fabric team, factories, and mills - having understanding of full print process from beginning to end

• Strong connection to emerging print and pattern trends, including AI

• Manage seasonal print workload to meet all deadlines. Responsible for up to 30 printed styles per collection

• Exceptional color sense, skilled in utilizing seasonal color palettes to create modern colorings within print designs

• Skillfully color separate artworks, reducing colors to meet screen or fabric limitations while preserving intended aesthetic

• Generate CADs to communicate placement of print designs on garments and create techpacks for artwork to be sent to factories and mills

• Positive and passionate with strong problem-solving skills and a desire to work in a collaborative environment and build strong relationships with business partners and team mates

• Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to multitask and prioritize along with clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

• Effectively manage time, prioritizing task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Collaborate effectively, fostering relationships with managers, team members, and cross-functional partners

• A positive, can-do attitude and team-oriented mindset is crucial

• 7-10 years experience in print or textile industry.

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Textile Design, Print Design or related experience necessary

• Expert level creative and technical skills in Adobe programs, keeping up to date with new features, is a must

• Ability to draw digitally (with or without wacom) is a must

• Hand sketching/painting/drawing skills is a plus, but not mandatory
